Lillaz Falls

The hiking trails in the area are numerous, for all tastes and all the difficulties. Leaving aside the mountaineering routes, classic rock and ice routes that reach heights of 3000/4000 m, there are excursions in all the valleys, well marked on the ground and shown on maps which are available at the information office.
The most popular are those paths leading to the refuge Vittorio Sella, the Herbetet Loie or lake, but also the Bardoney valley, the Valley, the cottages in the valley of Trajo Nomenon or offer the chance to see many deer, ibex and marmots. Less frequented other areas including the rugged valley of lakes and Grauson Lussert.

Justly famous waterfalls are Lillaz: three spectacular waterfalls, a 10 'walk from the hamlet of convenience Lillaz. Earlier this summer, when there is more water, the highest waterfall in the valley form a tall column of water that originates refreshing spray and rainbows. A staircase go up the trail to the waterfall further upstream, offering breathtaking views of the waterfalls and the narrow gorge carved by the river Urtier.
Along the road to reach the falls, was made ​​a geological trail with large stone blocks that represent the different rocks of the valley and they tell us millions of years of Earth history.
